Ok this is so exciting so yesterday He took me to 2 Kings 18 (I covered the end of chapter 17 yesterday) So chapter 18 is Hezekiah’s reign over Judah, Revival under Hezekiah(4-7) because he got rid of all the high places and idols that they had been worshiping, Hezekiah’s victory over the Philistines(8-12), Sennacherib invades Judah(13-16), Sennacherib seeks to terrify the defenders of Jerusalem(17-25), The answer to Rabshakeh’s threats(26), Rabshakeh’s further insolence(27-37) Read the whole chapter!
Now there are a few things I want to point out in these verses:
4 – The brazen serpent (brass/bronze) which Moses made under God’s instructions for the children of Israel (I will get to this in a moment) but they had been burning incense to it (idolatry) and worshiping it, they even gave it a name Nehushtan means a piece of brass, also copper, bronze, fetters (handcuffs or ankle cuffs), but the encyclopaedia says that when they did worship it the name had been corrupted and is actually Leviathan who is the sea monster or dragon and in this case the brass serpent.
Now the reason God told Moses to make this in the wilderness was because the Israelites were all moaning about everything saying “you brought us out of Egypt and we have nothing and are wandering in this wilderness where is Our God” they were speaking against God, not knowing that God was testing them all to see who put there Faith in Him and served Him with all their heart and obeyed His voice through Moses. There were not many who made it out the wilderness after 40 years. So God has had enough of them moaning and groaning to Moses and blaspheming Him so He sends fiery serpents among them which bite them and a lot of people died. So then God tells Moses to make a fiery serpent and put it on a pole –
Numbers 21:8-9
And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
Now the serpent is a symbol of SIN judged and brass speaks of divine judgement (brazen alter) and self-judgement (laver of brass) and is basically Jesus Christ which we find out in these verses:
John 3:14-15
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
2 Corinthians 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
So even back in the days of the wilderness God was showing His people Grace and Mercy even although most didn’t deserve it and this takes us back to watching your mouth and what come out it because it is not what a man puts into his mouth which defiles him, but it is what comes out the mouth which defiles him!!! Your words are much more powerful that you could ever imagine, we need to be speaking life over our lives and praising God every second of every day this gets results in your life and drives away the enemy, also when you pray for something only ask once then every time you pray after this THANK Him for receiving it and just wait for it to arrive,(whatsoever you ask for in prayer believe and you will receive – Matthew 21:22) this is real FAITH!!! Remember God spoke everything into creation (have you seen outside the hills (which are purple!) etc.??? Yeah!!!) This is backed up in Daniel 10 when Michael is held up from giving Daniel his answer to his prayer which God had heard the first time and answered immediately by sending Michael but he was held up (fighting) by the prince of Persia, spiritual wickedness in high places!!! Self-Judgement is also very important to a healthy relationship with God or the alternative is a rebuke from Him and you don’t want that!!! Very important lessons here people and just to add God never leaves YOU, EVER, He is always there by your side, sin separates you from Him but He never leaves your side, TRUTH, once your name is engraved in the palm of His righteous right hand, NO ONE and NOTHING can take you out or separate you from His LOVE, NOTHING!!!!!!!!! Don’t give up no matter how bad your situation maybe because God has sent His answer and it will be delivered in His perfect timing but Praise and Thanks is the key even in the worst times of your life, especially in the worst times of your life because the devil will flee from your life which will give way for God to sort it out, FAITH!!!!!!!!! Hand it all up to Him and carry on with your life, to blessed to be stressed because My God is on the throne!!!! Be still and know that I AM God!!!
Then in verse 34 – Where are the gods of Hamath, and of Arpad? where are the gods of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah? have they delivered Samaria out of mine hand?
Now today He took me to Isaiah 36 & 37 which is the exact same story as above in 2 Kings 18 and basically this is how it goes:
So Rabshakeh(Sennacherib’s chief cupbearer) goes to Jerusalem and tells the men on the wall a pack of lies saying don’t believe Hezekiah saying that God will deliver you because my king will destroy you all just like he has done throughout the nations he has invaded and he tells them they will eat their own shit and drink their own piss (I know charming eh?) basically he is full of shite himself, he is bluffing with his self-belief in a king who cannot stand against the Living God!!! He even asks them who they serve that they are so confident in their rebellion against his great king of Assyria – Sennacherib (I did a post on him last year – https://worriedmum.blog/2022/10/18/sennacherib/ )
I require only that you knee!!! Lol!! He even tried to bribe them with horses, they are like ignoring him as Hezekiah has told them not to answer. He then asks where the gods were from the verse above and saying their gods didn’t save them out my kings hand so what makes you think your God can deliver??? They are obviously thinking you don’t know my God, He can deliver from anything because nothing is impossible for Him!!! So Hezekiah’s men go back and tell him what Rabshakeh said which takes us into chapter 37 in which Hezekiah gets a bit worried so they send for Isaiah and Isaiah tells them this:
Isaiah 37:5-7 – So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah. 6 And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the Lord, Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. 7 Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.
Then Rabshakeh comes back with another message for Hezekiah again asking about the gods of the nations not saving their nations. So Hezekiah prays to God and asks Him to deliver them from Sennacherib and Gods answer comes back through Isaiah:
Isaiah 37:21-38
Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Whereas thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria:
22 This is the word which the Lord hath spoken concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of Zion, hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.
23 Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.
24 By thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the height of his border, and the forest of his Carmel.
25 I have digged, and drunk water; and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of the besieged places.
26 Hast thou not heard long ago, how I have done it; and of ancient times, that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps.
27 Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded: they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.
28 But I know thy abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage against me.
29 Because thy rage against me, and thy tumult, is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.
30 And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.
31 And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:
32 For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the Lord of hosts shall do this.
33 Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it.
34 By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the Lord.
35 For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.
And then this is what God does to Sennacherib and his army:
36 Then the angel of the Lord went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.
37 So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.
38 And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: and Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.
He destroyed 185000 they were corpses in the morning DEAD, not going to be much use in an invasion now are they??? And so Sennacherib fell by the sword held by his own sons hand, while he worshiped his god with a small “g”!!! Hey Sennacherib, why didn’t your god save you??? Lmao!!! Now this is exactly the same as the prophets of Baal with Elijah remember what I said yesterday about these big corps which includes governments because they are corporations too (corporations = dead corpses) like WEF & UN, have you seen the BS they are coming out with just like Rabshakeh and his gobshite they will not prosper against Our God EVER because their fate has been sealed by Our God and they will be delivered to that fate in God’s perfect timing because He already has everything planned and He is all about the tiny details of everything!!! What He is telling us is these corpses are full of shite complete nonsense babel confusion, verbal diarrhea thinking gods (they don’t exist and are not coming to save them!!! Just like the prophets of Baal who would still be waiting today for him to come if Elijah hadn’t had them killed!!!) of any description can deliver them from Our God is insanity and it WILL NOT HAPPEN because Our God the Living God, the God of all flesh, the Almighty, The Ancient of Days, The Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob through the blood of Jesus Christ has already delivered US from the hand of the enemy and our enemies are His enemies and payback is happening!!!
Yeah believe it and thank Him for it every time you speak with Him and We together with Our God will win this battle, God wins anyway that is already written so have faith and follow what I said above about thanking Him before you get your prayers answered because this is FAITH and WORSHIP people and that is what will change this world!!!!!!!!!! Thank Him for victory over all our enemies all day every day until it comes like a flood or maybe a FIRE this time!!!!!!!!!
Think about the post yesterday the sun has destroyed the isle of Helios the sun god (Rhodes) and where are the Greek gods??? Italy is being hit too, and where are all the Roman gods??? When Mecca was hit with floods and plagues of insects where was Allah???
