40 days!!!

For it is written “And the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan; even the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?”

“Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”

“And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.”

I declare my power and authority over the enemy and all his weapons in the name of Jesus Christ by the power in His Blood!!! Remember satan has been defeated he is a defeated foe!!! It is finished!!!

Isaiah 5:20

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Isaiah 54:17

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Luke 10:17-19

And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Ok so yesterday morning when I woke up and seen the weather (SSDD!!!) I was like not again, really getting sick of this cloud and rain every day!!! So I did my usual morning routine and went out about 6:30 to walk the dog and I turned round and right in front of me was a rainbow (a rainbow proves there is a dome above us as this is projected from above!) and through experience I know if there is a rainbow He is reminding me of His covenant because there is a judgement coming from Him.  He tells me this so I am not shouting at satan all day about the weather, lol!!! So anyway the weather and wind was pretty terrible yesterday until late on when it started clearing to reveal His throne and when I was walking the dog again another rainbow appeared as if He was saying that’s it done!! Also my walks with the dog are basically a walk with Him just like Adam in the garden before the fall, we talk about everything and 99% of the time He will stop the rain until I have walked the dog if it is raining!!! So yesterdays scripture was Ecclesiastes 9 – 11 and these verses jumped out (read all of them!)

Ecclesiastes 9:18 – Wisdom is better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good.

Ecclesiastes 10:2 – A wise man’s heart is at his right hand; but a fool’s heart at his left.

Same as Jesus in Matthew 25:33 the goats on the left and the sheep on the right

Interestingly after Ecclesiastes I asked for more and He took me to Psalms 33 which I will get to further on!!!

Matthew 25:33-46 –  And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

46 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

So if you are out and about and see someone needing help and you get the urge but then think Oh I am late already and just walk away and carry on with your own business don’t be surprised if when you stand in front of God, He tells you to depart to the left!!! You never know when He is putting tests in front of you and you never know when these people who need help are actually Angels of the Lord disguised as men/women, again He tries the Heart of people to see the real intentions coming from the heart!!! Be warned!!!

Then getting back to Ecclesiastes 11:3 (3×11=33 remember Ezekiel 33 the watchman’s duty?!!!)

If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.

Mmm RAIN and it did indeed rain yesterday with a howling wind too!!!

Also chapter 11 has 10 verses and the number 10 is everywhere just now – Keep my commandments!!!

Then we have Psalms 33 – 36 and Psalm 33 is written for the Righteous Ones the upright in heart who know God and believe His word, this Psalm says so much and it has 22 verses if we add 33+22 = 55 and 5+5=10!!!

Psalm 33 – Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.

2 Praise the Lord with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.

3 Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

4 For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth.

5 He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.

6 By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

7 He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.

8 Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

10 The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.

11 The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

13 The Lord looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.

14 From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.

15 He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.

16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.

17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.

18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;

19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

20 Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield.

21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

22 Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

Then Psalms 34 – 36 are written by David and at 33:2 we have a harp a 10 stringed instrument which David was awesome at playing as we will see from todays scripture which is 1 Samuel 16 & 17 so chapter 16 is David chosen to be anointed King and Samuel is told to do this and to say he is doing a sacrifice for the Lord and invite Jesse and his sons so as not to raise Saul’s suspicion to anything going on as he is still King at this point although God has already removed him there is the possibility of Samuel being killed by Saul if he finds out!! Also anointed does not mean enthroned because David is still young and needs to learn much more and gain experience!!! So Samuel goes to Jesse, Davids father and asks to see all his sons as God hasn’t told Samuel which one it is and David has 7 older brothers.  So Jesse brings out the oldest first and God is like Nope to Samuel and this follows for the other 6 brothers and Samuel is like to Jesse do you have any more sons? Jesse is like yeah my youngest David who is tending the sheep, so Samuel tells him to bring David to him.  During the process Samuel is told by God not to look to the outward appearance of these men because that is not how God looks upon us but by what is in our hearts because He tries the reigns of the heart. Also note that all David’s brothers are here so the battle with the Philistines hasn’t started yet!! So after David is anointed King by Samuel he is then called for by Saul to play the harp for him as the Lord has sent an evil spirit to trouble him and removed His Spirit from him. But David had the Spirit of the Lord upon him from the day he was anointed. So David goes to Saul and plays the harp for him we are not told how long this lasts!!! So Chapter 17 is when the Philistines gather together to fight Israel and Goliath makes his debut he is about 9 feet tall and presents himself day and night for 40 days with no one taking him up on his offer of a fight.  David has gone home to care for his father sheep and his 3 eldest brothers are with Saul fighting against the Philistines. So David’s father asks him to take parched corn which is dried corn in oil and 10 loaves of bread and 10 cheeses for their captain. David was of the tribe of Ephraim not Judah and actually the tribes are more about the nature of people than bloodlines, also David was the 8th son the youngest so it is God who chooses not bloodlines not man not kings but God and God alone who chooses whom to anoint King over His people.  And so David kills Goliath on the 40th day with a smooth stone which embeds in Goliaths head and knocks him down, out cold he could have been dead at this point however, just to make sure David then gets his sword which must have been at least 5 feet tall I seen swords like this at Edinburgh castle when I was there with NO explanation as to who they belonged to or the history behind them!!! Anyway David cuts his head off with his own sword which must have been about the same size as David or not much smaller!!! David was just hitting puberty at this point so not a man yet still in limbo between boy and man!!! Which makes it even more awesome and a complete insult to Goliath and his Philistine army!!!

So you don’t need anyone to bring 9 foot giants down except The Living God!!! That’s the TRUTH!!!

But that is not what is very interesting about this because I have read this chapter so many times and never noticed the whole 40 days thing until today because God wanted me to notice it.

So get this from today it is exactly 40 days until 28/9/23!!! How crazy is that??? Read my last 2 posts https://worriedmum.blog/2023/08/15/x-10-keep-my-commandments/ and https://worriedmum.blog/2023/08/18/wisdom-giants-and-architects/

When I read verse 16 I was like “no way it cannot possibly be I will wet myself if this is 40 days” He must be up there like “Ha, I AM THEE GENIUS, just go check!” LMAO!!! I couldn’t believe it mind blown and after the last two posts this is just the icing on the cake!!! Another thing we should pay attention to is the Harp with 10 strings because when David played this the evil spirit departed from Saul!!! Now go read these chapters!!!

Also when we had summer back when the sun was out every day, we had 40 days without rain and He told us this drought was coming if you remember back when I posted about it!!! The Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years before reaching the promised land and so 40 is symbolic of the waiting, the preparation, the test or the punishment. Also a woman is pregnant for 40 weeks.  It rained 40 days and nights when Noah and his family were in the ark.  David reigned as King for 40 years 7 years in Hebron and 33 years over the whole of Israel!!! Paul tells us in Acts 13:20 that Saul reigned 40 years over Israel and I find it interesting that they refer to this as The United Kingdom of Israel.  The United Kingdom we live in has 4 countries, Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales.  40 years is seen as a generation. Jesus fasted in the wilderness for 40 days. There were 40 days between Jesus resurrecting and His ascension up into Heaven.  The first judge over Israel Othniel judged Israel and defeated their enemies and the land rested for 40 years.  Deborah and Barak the 4th and 5th judges of Israel had rest 40 years at the end of Judges 5. Gideon the 6th judge had 40 years of rest in the land too. Abdon the 12th judge of Israel had 40 sons.  Eli the priest who mentored Samuel judged Israel 40 years.  Solomon reigned 40 years and had 40,000 stalls of horses.  Exodus is the only book with exactly 40 chapters.  It was 40 years after Jesus ascension into Heaven that Jerusalem was destroyed by the roman empire. Moses lived in Pharoah’s house 40 years, he then lived in the desert for 40 years and then at 80 he led God’s people out of Egypt into the wilderness and died at 120 years old and he was up on the mountain of God 40 days and nights getting the law from God and he also sent spies out to the land of Canaan for 40 days. Isaac married Rebeca at the age of 40 and Esau also married at the age of 40!!! And I could go on because there are more including our bodies and the way they are put together but you get the picture the number 40 is very significant!!!

And let’s finish with Psalm 40 and one of my all-time favourite chapters in the Bible Isaiah 40:

Psalm 40       King James Version

I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.

4 Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

5 Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest.

10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.

11 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.

13 Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me: O Lord, make haste to help me.

14 Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.

15 Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.

16 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified.

17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.

Isaiah 40 KJV

Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.

2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.

3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

5 And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

6 The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:

7 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.

8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!

10 Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

12 Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?

13 Who hath directed the Spirit of the Lord, or being his counsellor hath taught him?

14 With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?

15 Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.

16 And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering.

17 All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.

18 To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?

19 The workman melteth a graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold, and casteth silver chains.

20 He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that shall not be moved.

21 Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?

22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

23 That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.

24 Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble.

25 To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.

26 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.

27 Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the Lord, and my judgment is passed over from my God?

28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
